Brand History

Our Beginnings

In 1949, shortly after the end of World War 2, the founder, Shosuke Yamamoto, began making bags with his brother in Osaka.

In 1969, they began producing randoseru and decided to dedicate their efforts exclusively to this product. At that time, their products were mainly sold in department stores.

For Own Child: Crafting a Special Randoseru

In 1994, Kazuhiko Yamamoto, the second-generation president, made the decision to create the best randoseru for his eldest son, who was about to start primary school.

The randoseru's color is navy blue, which his eldest son is favorite. It was rare at the time, as black and red were the more popular colours.

As a creator and a parent, he put all his skills and passion into making it.

In result, the randoseru was finished that was filled with more than parental love. These school bags became the prototype for today's Antique Bronze.
Following the randoseru made for his eldest son, he created randoserus for his second son and daughter. Even after more than 20 years, they have not lost their shape, and their cherished sentiments have only deepened since then.
