Factory Tour
We offer an unforgettable factory tour experience that goes beyond just observing from a distance. It allows you to immerse yourself in the world of Japanese craftsmanship. After the factory tour, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at leathercraft and even indulge in shopping for the bags that you witnessed being manufactured. It’s a unique and engaging experience that brings you closer to the artistry behind our products.

Reception
Please complete the registration at the reception desk of Nara main store and obtain a factory map.

Factory Tour
You can use the factory map to explore our factory. You can closely observe the craftsman's skills during each work process of making randoseru, along with explanations provided on the map.

Making Leathercraft
You have the opportunity to try your hand at leathercraft using the leather from randoseru. Once you have completed your creation, you can take it home as a souvenir.

Photo Spot
There are two photo spots available: one in front of the factory and another at the entrance of our Nara main store. These spots are specifically designed for taking memorable photographs.

Shopping
At our Nara main store, you can enjoy shopping for both randoseru and Kaguyamakaban. We offer a wide selection of these products for your shopping pleasure.

Factory Tour

Blocking
Arranging parts in appropriate positions and directions so that the product parts can be cut efficiently.

Cutting
Inputting data from PC to automatic cutting machine (CAD/CAM) and cutting high-speed and high-precision with a pneumatic cutter.

Edge Coating
The process of buffing and several times of varnishing and polishing is called “kobanuri” in Japanese and usually adopt in luxury men’s bag.

Sewing to Join a Main Dimension and Front Parts
Sewing to join a main dimension and front parts such as front pockets.

Kizami
Making nine fine folds like a kiku-flower and shaping like a fan. This is one of the traditional techniques which Japanese craftsmen are proud of.

Final assembly sewing
After every part joined, at last sewing the outline of randoseru with a needle as large as a pen.
After the factory tour, you will get a leather craft that you made and a souvenir!
