Thinning and Skiving

First, we thin out each part with meticulous precision, ensuring uniformity in thickness. Think of it like slicing veggies, it's leather that falls behind.

After thinning out the entire part, skiving selectively thins out specific sections. The different colored part indicates the thinned area. With over 200 parts undergoing this process, we maintain thickness on parts like shoulder straps to withstand pressure, while thinner sections are reserved for foldable parts. Each part undergoes a thickness inspection to ensure precision for the next stage.
