The randoseru is an iconic bag that holds an important place in Japanese school culture, often seen as a symbol of a child's first steps into formal education. So randoseru is not just a backpack; it has a special meaning.

We have been making randoseru since 1949 with the spirit of "creating 'good products' to make people happy and contribute to society". Waterproof processing
The leather used in the Randoseru from Kaban Kobo Yamamoto is all treated with waterproofing, so you can be assured even in sudden rain. Additionally, it can be kept clean without special care.

Arched shoulder straps

The metal fittings attached to the top of the shoulder straps are designed in an arched shape to better fit a child’s shoulders. By positioning these fittings at the top of the randoseru, the center of gravity is raised, helping to reduce the burden on the shoulders.

At Yamamoto Bag Workshop, we have been crafting randoseru for over 70 years since our founding in 1949.
Each randoseru is carefully handmade, and in recent years, they have been gaining increasing attention from people overseas.

We, Kaban Kobo Yamamoto, were established in 1949, shortly after the war, as a bag manufacturing company. Currently, in addition to the production and sales of randoseru and general bags, we are also engaged in agricultural business.

We would like to introduce our history, which has been driven by the belief that "we will create good products in any era."
